Vanilla pastry cream / chocolate cream

Vanilla pastry cream and/or chocolate cream

Vanilla pastry cream (custard) and Chocolate cream is very easy to make!

For eclairs and other dishes. Here is good recipe!

  • Beat eggs in a bowl. Add sugar and vanilla sugar.
  • Whisk it together. Better use electric mixer.
  • Add flour.
  • And again whisk it by electric mixer.
  • Add to the mixture approximately 1/4 volume of milk
  • Again whisk it by electric mixer. So the mixture will be quite liquid.
  • Pour the remaining 3/4 volume of milk into the saucepan.
  • Bring milk to a boil on the stove.
  • Reduce the power of the stove to almost a minimum.
  • Pour the mixture into the very-slowly boiling milk.
  • Pour the remaining 3/4 volume of milk into the saucepan.
  • Bring milk to a boil on the stove.
  • Reduce the power of the stove to almost a minimum.
  • Pour the mixture to the very-slowly boiling milk.
  • Need keep stirring constantly until the mixture is thick and pudding-like in consistency

Vanilla pastry cream is ready!

And now if need makes the Chocolate cream. (Chocolate prepared for this)

  • 1/3 Volume of Vanilla pastry cream while it hot transfer to another bowl.
  • Add the chocolate.
  • Chocolate melts easily in hot Vanilla pastry cream.
  • Just need to stir it well

Chocolate cream is ready!

Place Pastry cream and Chocolate cream in the refrigerator.
